ORION  Questions & Answers :
———————————————

Q: What should I do if Orion displays "No Signal" or cannot power on ?

A: When Orion displays “No Signal”, please check the following :

  • Make sure Orion is connected to power (using the Nintendo Switch adapter or a power bank).
  • Please ensure that your Nintendo Switch console has battery power and is powered on.
  • Ensure your Nintendo Switch is inserted into the slot on the back cover of Orion with the screen facing forward.
  • If the Nintendo Switch has been inactive for a period of time, it may enter sleep mode, causing Orion to also enter sleep mode. At this point, waking up the ORION monitor cannot turn on the Nintendo Switch because the Switch is the signal source, and the ORION is the display. The ORION functions passively and cannot wake up the Switch. This is similar to how a computer can wake up a monitor, but the monitor cannot wake up the computer. In this situation, the consumer needs to press the “HOME” button on the Joy-Con controllers to wake up the Switch.
  • Due to the unique charging protocol of the Switch Type C, the boot time may be as long as 6-8 seconds, which may cause the end user to think it hasn’t booted.
  • If the end user is using a non-Switch power adapter, some power adapters may have special PD charging protocols that are incompatible with the Switch, such as the iPhone 15’s power adapter. Therefore, it is recommended that the end user use the Switch’s adapter.
